Maxis one of the hottest telecommunication provider in Malaysia introduced their usb modem exclusively for Maxis Broadband. Take a closed look to their USB Modem, is it same like Celcom offered?You can get this cute modem for RM 39 per month (rental) with 18 month contract.For sure their using Huawei USB E220 that i offered in my previous post or in my official catalog.

saya dah guna maxis broadband pakej 68 (modem zte yg besor tu), saya jugak ada pcmcia 3g data card model merlin 530 (sama dengan maxis/celcom 3g data card). yg menjadi kemuskilan saya kenapa sim card maxis broadband tak bleh dgunakan dgn data card tersebut sedangkan simcard celcom broadband boleh?.. saya dah hubungi maxis hotline, maxis broadband helpline utk dptkan jawapan..tetapi hampeh…..senyap jer sampai sekarang….mintak tolong pihak admin utk dapatkan kepastian……terima kasih

Hi, the sim card from maxis wireless broadband package (come with ZTE modem) CAN’T use with the data card, The sim card is LOCKED. Already tried it and confirmed it before.
I think this is to protect their 3G Advance and Power plan.. If it can use for Data card, then many will apply for Maxis Wireless broadband (with ZTE modem, RM68 only) and use it with the data card.
Their hotline is useless sometimes,you have to go to their centre talk to them face to face.

thank’s for u’r comment…..4 u’r info i’ll already try my data card with celcom broadband..it’s work nicely…same goes when i use celcom datacard with my nokia e90…if this th’re business plan why not they unlock the simcard and let people choose pakej mana yg diorg nak guna….pakej maxis yg dapat modem atau pakej celcom yg cuma utk broadband saje : )…peace.

Ramai member-member saya yang pakai Maxis Broadband,tapi sepnjang penggunaan yang memang 24jam sehari download yang sememangnye lebih 3gb sebulan,maxis setakat nih tidak mengenakan sebarang additional charge untuk pengguna yang menggunakan lebih dari 3GB usage. Akan tetapi jika Maxis mengenakan caj untuk penggunaan melebihi 3GB,kita tidak boleh kata apa-apa sebab benda nih dalam term and condition yang kita sign dalam agreement.So kita sebagai pengguna menggunakan perkhidmatan dalam keadaan ketakutan(lebih2 plak ayat).
Saya kurang faham soalan pasal perbezaan antara Maxis Wireless Broadband ngan yang power,sila perincikan soalan anda azli.
Celcom ngan Maxis yang mana power?Boleh rujuk kat forum mypdacafe.com,tgk speed report yang diorang post kat forum tuh.Tapi kalau in term of coverage —->Celcom Rulez hehe.

boleh jer nak terminate Celcom,kena pergi kat Celcom centre terdekat,xsilap saya sedikit service charge dikenakan,tapi bukan penalti la sbb kita xder sebarang kontrak penggunaan untuk celcom Broadband,tapi untuk Maxia Broadband,ader 18 bulan kontrak,kalau nak terminate sebelum 18 bulan kena penalti laa,sebelum subscribe pastkan signal Maxis broadband kat area saudara betul2 kaw hehe.

Untuk simcard pakej 98 saya tak test lagi.Tak tau simcard dier lock ataupun x,sebab sebelum nih saya test untuk pakej 68 dan 78 still dier lock simcard,means xboleh guna untuk modem yang kecik tuh.Untuk pakej anda boleh tanya Maxis punyer hotline 1800 82 2000

Yup Oh,your assumption is true.You can insert your Celcom Broadband Sim card into Huawei E220 modem and can surf internet on the go.But the speed is best effort basis,u can’t get 384kbps full speed,because a lot of resistance such as weather,building etc but the average speed will be in range 280kbps and 370kbps.For Celcom Broadband user,Celcom extending their major upgrading until 23 November 2007,so be patient surfing in slow connection. Dear All,
I just subscribed to MAXIS Wireless Broadband (using Huawei E220 modem – High-Speed 3G network) which has to be connected via USB to Notebook/Laptop . This service does not require telephone fixed line, just using USB Modem that uses a 017 SIM card to connect into the Internet for instance. I am now using company GID notebook, the maxis usb auto plug-and-play software does not working here since the GID operating system does not permit me to run the Maxis USB wireless modem. Is Maxis provide any administrator support to unblock the system (prior to first plug-and-play software run) in order for the basic USB router software to run on the notebook operating system (WindowXP) for the broadband modem to be activated. Or does Maxis provide network cable connection option for thier Huawei E220 modem. (GID permit network cable connection)
I hope my explanations can justify me to have the support from Maxis and all of you in order for me to access company Network remotely for my daily tasks. Your support and suggestion to stop the above restriction and barrier for me to be professionally and effectively in doing my daily tasks is much appreciated.

Dear stefan88:I understand the problem you faced,the only solution available is to used HSDPA Router.The HSDPA Router works in this way: The router itself have USB port to connect your Huawei E220 modem,so from router to your computer using network cable connection or using wireless network connection,so the router works in both ways wired and wireless.So your problem solved is it?The HSDPA Router available in market is D-Link DIR 451 which available on my store check it out http://3gcard.myceloteh.com

My wife is using the maxis rm68 package on her laptop……but when i try to use the zte modem on my laptop somehow my laptop just doesnt detect it……do i have to change the settings on my laptop or something to make it work?

To munz: if you try to connect to another laptop,please check the modem is online first,try type this on your browser http://192.168.0.1,if the connection is online it should be okay,if is it offline,you have to exit all application that use port 80,such as apache server etc.

Pakej RM68 mmg unlimited access,cuma telco spt Maxis atau Celcom ada fair usage policy in case of network congested,kalau penggunaan lebih 3gb sehari (MAXIS) connection akan jadi slow kerana nak bagi fair usage kat user lain.Sama jgk dgn Celcom,die bagi 5gb penggunaan sehari,kalau lebih 5gb network akan reduce speed jadi 128kbps,ini case kalau network congested(out of resource) la.Slps 24 jam akan reset blk.

Seem you have the problem using maxis usb modem aka huawei e220,thats kind weird when jasper said have to connect “2head”,becoz im have experience using this kind of modem,no problem at all,but im using Celcom HSDPA, and using the usb cable provided and internet on the go..but if you used dekstop with front USB the problem like the modem is not functioning will arised,because the front USB port doesn’t have enough power to “on” your modem.The solution is to put “2head” usb cable to turn it on. The problem can also arise when you used notebook with battery,so the “2head” cable is the solution.

Dear Miss Positive,
There is a possibility of the modem picking up the GPRS signal instead of 3G. If you see the BLUE led it means it using the 3G signal, but if you only see the GREEN led than it using only GPRS signal.
You can setup the modem to use only 3G signal. Go to the Settings, select Choose Connection Type and choose 3G only. This is to ensure that the device will only connect to 3G network. I have posted the Huawei modem setup for Celcom in the 3G support forum ( this is only a guide – I assume the modem already auto setup for Maxis). Once you get the modem up and running properly, why don’t you give your speed test result in the 3G support forum? We all can compare which network is faster?

Dear admin,
Just wondering if it is possible to use my motorola v3xx as hsdpa modem and connect it via usb to the dlink dir451 router using celcom broadband. From the info in dlink’s website that they do have support for the v3xx but it specified only for maxis and not celcom.
I did try to demo the unit with the phone but most dealers do not have ready stock of the dir 451 for me to try.

I would like to ask if anyone here noes how to set the ‘port’ to use Bit Torent.
I have problems using it wherelse limewire and ares there;s no problem.
Have done a test on wether my port is forwarded correctly and bit torent detects
it’s not. Unable to find this USB model in thier help webpage “Forward”.

Actually your phone is HSDPA capable,means that ,only use your phone to connect to the internet,because of HSDPA is there on your phone no need USB Modem.But because of your phone have W-LAN feature, you can manipulate Maxis USB modem to router (such as D-Link DIR 451) plugged in the Maxis USB to the router then browse the internet through your phone using W-LAN.

Doesn’t matter just ask,if i can answer i will..Actually you can convert your Nokia E90 into hsdpa modem,just plugged in to your computer thru USB and for sure you have to install Nokia Suite to get connected to the internet.Means no need USB Modem,just insert Maxis Broadband simcard into your Nokia E90 and get connected.But there are some issues when using phone as a modem,it takes a lot of power so then your phone battery “cepat habis” and the phone itself getting hotter..The easy way to share the connection by using the router(D-Link Dir 450) can read my post http://www.myceloteh.com/?p=110 ,because the router itself have USB port and then in just an easy configuration you can share your internet connection.

i’m using maxis power plan with zte mf600 modem. can any1 tell me what the average speed for that plan. my average speed is about 700 kbps. is that good or bad? here my wireless network information. can comment on that.

dolmong – i’m not sure the average speed of maxis power plan.but the max speed would be 3.6Mbps rite?i believe the monthly fee is rm98.700kbps is quite good.
UMTS stands for Universal Mobile Telecommunication System.it is the general name of 3G.some places in the world are using the name EVDO instead of 3G.but both of them are relatively the same.other network type can be EDGE or GPRS.
i’m not sure what’s the meaning of RSSI or RSCP.maybe admin could give a help on this.but from my understanding,performance will be much better as the value nears 0 dBm.

Make sure before you subsribe Maxis broadband package to asking them.. It that really my connection speed is up to 3.6Mbps? so this is the answer i guess you will get… “it depend on your area”.. yes that the answer. Try to ask them how fast the internet connection.. if i sit at maxis broadband transmitter? did i get up to 3.6Mbps.. ? Nope.. nope… never… u’ll will get 56k.. yeah that what you get…

a) Can I use non-3G SIM cards (e.g. Celcom X-Pax Prepaid) with a 3G device such as Merlin U630?
b) Can I use 3G SIM cards (e.g. Celcom Broadband D68 128K USIM) with a non-3G device such as Nokia 3310? (well, considering the SIM card is not limited to data for Internet purposes, but can also be used to make n’ receive regular calls a.k.a. voice-enabled)

For Celcom Prepaid user,you must have 3G enable simcard to connect to celcom broadband..if you dont,please upgrade your simcard at nearest Celcom centre,RM5 will be charged.
Celcom Broadband D68 data plan is only for data..no voice call.

I’m sorry to argue ghufexpert…
I just found out about the RM5 upgrade, but I already tested D8 before, I didn’t upgrade anything.
I know about the D68 has no voice support. All the e.g.s there were just examples.
I was asking about hardware incompatibilities… I wonder if non-3G SIM card will bring any hardware-related (e.g. memory interrupt) problems to a 3G device. So do when using a 3G SIM card in a non-3G device.

Actually RM5 upgrade is for Celcom prepaid (XPAX)user that have old simcard that have no 3G function embedded into simcard.So to get connected to the internet,the user have to use the 3G enable simcard.
For D68 simcard,actually it is an ordinary simcard,like the other simcard,there is no issue regarding incompatibility to other handphone,because it is regular simcard you can plugged to any handphone even iti is nokia 3310

Ok tengkiu ah, ingatkan kat sini pun takde sape2 ble/nak tolong.
Mungkin tak perasan bile sy connect kat D8 tu, speed cume takat GPRS je… yelah, kad SIM pun non-3G, then fon pun Class 8 GPRS je hehe.
Pasal incompatibilities tu, manala tau kan… my Xpax is 64K, then D68 if I’m not mistaken, 128K. Kot2 pening data-card tu kalau yg masuk is the 64K one. Atau nanti kena kanser 3310 kalau gune yg 128K tu.
Rasa cam bodo plak… or yes a bit, before, hehehe.

Anda tak keseorangan fakrul,ramai maxis broadband subscriber menghadapi masalah yang sama,so means the device is ok,network yang problem.So untuk network issue boleh terus call careline Maxis untuk buat aduan.

sometimes my laptop cannot detect device, so I cannot use it. so kena cabut usb modem tu and re-insert it again.
sometimes the 2nd time boleh guna. sometimes cannot.
why is this happening?

Sepatutnya xder masalah apabila connect,cuba try kat laptop lain dulu,kalau xbleh jgk maknanya device fault.Kena pagi Maxis tukar modem tuh.Kalau ok kat laptop lain means ader something wrong with your laptop.

Dear all,
Saya baru saja subscribe maxis bb pakej RM78 dengan ZTE external modem. Pada hari pertama, connection very slow about 200kbs, cuma GPRS atau Edge sahaja. But the 2nd day, langsong tak da connection. Tanya Maxis, dia orang suruh on off, suruh unplugged, suruh cabut RJ45 dll, like stupid je. Dia kata modem dah rosak. I suspect someting error with server or watever sebab phone boleh guna dengan modem tu. Suruh dia reset dia tak mau buat. Tapi the next day connection tiba-tiba ok. Skang saya sentiasa dapat HSDPA selepas saya reset seeting, onfiguration. Average speed dalam 400-500 kbs, buat test dari http://www.speedtest.net. Tapi kalau pakej RM98 atau RM138, i think the speed is great!
Untuk makluman, saya tinggal di Semenyih, Selangor.

In my kampung, there’s no Maxis 3G/HSDPA/EDGE yet, so means if I subscribe to Maxis bb, speed will only be at GPRS la kan?

Aku sekarang apaki celcom 3G hampir 4 bulan…. masalahnya…. jika aku online dalam 2 jam atau lebih… medem akan crash.. dimana aku perlu restart pc semula.. baru boleh connect balik… aku tak pasti sama ada masalah itu berpunca daripada line celcom atau modem itu sendiri… ada sapa2 tahu tak….. Huawei 3G usb terlebih panas atau apa/? sapa2 boleh tolong..

Itu adalah salah satu issues untuk pengguna Huawei E220,di mana penggunaan secara non stop akan ada ketikanya modem akan hang kerana overheat,bukan kerana line celcom,soluton dier,ko kena beli satu kipas untuk huawei tuh,tak pun ko reka sendiri pun xper.

Sekadar maklumat. Bukan semua tempat di Semenyih dapat connection HSDPA. Setakat yang saya dah cuba spt berikut:
1. Sekitar Jalan Semenyih dari Bandar Kajang ke JPJ Semenyih, HSDPA.
2. Sebahagian Bandar Teknologi, Sebahagian Sunway Semenyih, Sebahagian Taman Desa Mewah, Sebahagian Taman Sahabat/Hiew Paw dan sekitarnya, Taman Paling Jaya termasuk SMK Ungku Hussein, Kg Baru China – connection ok jer. (kadang-kadang EDGE/GPRS)
3.Pekan semenyih, ok
4. Taman Tasik Semenyih (Jalan ke Nottingham University) HSDPA great. Dijamin oleh Maxis.
5. Tempat lain, maaf saya belum test.
Ini speedtest hari ini tetapi agak slow. Mungkin sebab weekend, ramai orang guna. Line conggested???

Sy pun dah mengalami masalah yg sama dengan Router D-Link 451,dan dah cuba untuk upgrade firmwarenya sekali,tapi tak jadi,so last2 kena hantar warranty dept jgk.So kalau masalah camtu mmg router tuh rosak la.Kena hantar warranty dept.
mmg modem jenis ini untuk mobile broadband,kat atas kereta pun boleh surf,cayalah.

saya da guna maxis usb broadband sejak pc fair JB akhir 2007 (promosi bulanan RM118 sahaja)… mula-mula pakai dulu rasa tertekan jugak kerana senang sangat nak disconnected… mudah disconnected kalu LED kaler hijau (EDGE/GPRS) suddenly upgraded ke UMTS/3G (kaler biru)… kalau downgrade, tak disconnected pulak… hingga kat dalam rumah saya cari port yang maintain EDGE sahaja… sampai begitu sekali! pada saya EDGE pun laju juga…. except kalau nak tgk tv online – tak dapat la kot…. mesti sangkut nyer… dan amat tertekan sekali apabila sedang menunggu youtube streaming….. atau sedang download…. tapi akhirnya saya dapat solution sendiri untuk mengelakkan asyik disconnected, dengan pergi ke settings -> choose connection type – 3G only… insya ALLAH LED kekal biru – dengan syarat memang dapat coverage biru la… baru la selesa online…. so far tak pernah disconnected…. aspek kelajuan – pun puas ati… then saya tidak menyesal memilih maxis broadband…

Hello,
I’ve been using celcom 3g for the past 3 months..
For the first month i subscribed for advance package (RM98)
but my area can get umts signal only..
So for the next month i changed to basics (RM68).
My download speed earlier when i used advance was just around 30 to 40kb/s.
But now it has dropped to 4-10kb/s..
I don’t understand why my download speed has dropped so much when my connection is suppose to be 384kb..
I thought my average download speed after the overhead and all suppose to be around 20 to 30 kb/s.
When i checked my speed using http://www.speedtest.net the download speed was 59kb/s and upload speed was 33kb/s with ping time 509ms.
Is it possible celcom is limiting my connection speed and why is my gateway at east Malaysia when I’m staying in west Malaysia (Seremban-Rasah)

Even with TM Nut 1515, I usually get not less than 24Kb/s (or 3KB/s) for downstream, and since several weeks ago, always 56-88 Kb/s.
Now you said 59Kb/s with Celcom D68???
Upstream tu lagi teruk, 1515 tak penah lagi lah pulak kurang dari 50Kb/s.
Maybe your area isN’T under 3G yet…?
I somehow agree with this you know:
Satu lagi yg aku tak puas hati, susah sgt Celcom nak disclose dorang punya 3GX coverage, takut tak laku agaknya.

Saya sekarang ini melanggan Celcom Broadband Pakej RM 68 dan menggunakan Huawei E220 sebagai modem. Di tempat saya tiada masalah untuk melayari internet menggunakan modem ini kerana terdapat signal 3G. Masalah yang timbul sekarang ketika saya berada di kampung dimana kampung saya tidak terdapat signal 3G dan yang ada hanyalah signal GPRS. Oleh yang demikian saya telah menukar setting modem tersebut kepada GPRS dan apabila saya klik pada connect keluar error yang bertulis ” A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection was colsed ” . Bagaimanakah cara untuk mengatasi masalah ini ? Diharap Mr Admin boleh bantu.

for all maxis USB BB user ..pls take note …
If your device hilang atau kena curi …u have to pay RM 800 for replacement …
Even if with a police report — you may get a waiver of 20% only —subject for approval ….
but then you have to pay up CASH to get this replacement …no instalment plan ..
and those stolen USB can be used by other parties with all smiles
SO just be aware of such suck up from maxis

shinchan – for your info, 7.2Mbps tu cuma max speed yang modem tu bleh receive. maknanya kalau mana2 isp kat malaysia ni dah ada offer HSUPA service, boleh la guna modem yang sama tu. masalahnya sekarang isp kat malaysia ni cuma provide up to 3.6Mbps. tu pun tak pernah sampai 3 secara praktikalnya. tapi modem 7.2Mbps ni lagi bagus dari yang 3.6Mbps, sebab bandwidth receiver nya lebih besar. so signal strength nya lebih baik.

I’m using celcom bb with Blue Cube USB modem (yg max 7.2Mbps) since last 2 month. Startup cost inc register (sim card) = RM699 .Maknanye modem tu kita punya. Walaupun lagi murah & kecik drp Huawei, masalah modem ni masa mula app, kekadang ada initialisation problem (aku tak ingat error message dia cakap apa). So kena reboot PC baru OK.
Satu lagi, kepada pengguna Blue Cube yg nak bertukar kepada Linux OS, forget it man!

DIR-451 kn ke memang wireless router? Janji komputer-komputer awk ade wireless adapter, ble la buat wireless connection. Kat My Celoteh ada 2 tutorial dah, cuma itu wired, bukan wireless.
Option GT 3G Quad (UMTS/3G) dan Huawei E620 (HSDPA) daripada Maxis adalah dua contoh data cards yg compatible with that very router.

hai semua….aku baru guna huawei e220…aku baca komen orang, ramai yang kata panas dan hang. Memang betul pun begitu tetapi bagi aku…cuma waktu baru beli aje….sekarang dah steady….jauh beza kepanasan sewaktu baru baru guna. tapi aku guna cukup lasak ..biarkan dia on sampai 8 atau 10 jam atau lebih dari itu..mula mula aku memang frust..sekarang kira ok pula…barang kali modem ni kena pelasak dulu. sekarang aku dah tak ada masalah lagi dengan modem ni…”HUAWEI E220 ALAH BISA KERANA BIASA”.. hai…macam tolong mengempen pula aku…tak ada ke syarikat yang jual huawei nak hadiah kat aku…Tapi itulah pengalaman aku sebenar. sewaktu aku tulis komen ni aku tengah guna modem ni sejak pukul 7.30 pagi tadi lagi..sekarang jam 18.06. sekian.

Soalan untuk bantuan dari semua…saya telah menggunakan modem usb Huawei e220 dengan router d-link dir 451 untuk ISP Celcom. Hasilnya sungguh lancar untuk akses internet berbanding dengan menggunakan modem tersebut terus ke usb port di komputer tanpa rounter d-link dir 451. Sangat puas hati.
Persoalan saya ialah:
Dalam menu setup di rounter d-link dir 451 untuk perkhidmatan Maxis tidak ada nama modem usb e220. jadi saya tak dapat guna untuk perkhidmatan Maxis. Macam mana nak lesaikan? saya dah pun upgrade firmware baru (latest).
Nama ISP Digi takada langsung dalam setup ni. Jadi bagai mana boleh ke kita masukkan nama tu dan modem usb e220 sekali? Harap dapat bantuan….terima kasih.

So what you’re saying is.. Maxis banned all p2p software,is it? what about BT’s file!? Damn! what is the point having an internet connection if u cant use all that?
today, my friend just subscribes to the RM68 maxis broadband and bring home the ZTE MF600 hsdpa wireless Terminal.i helped him out connecting the RJ45 cross cable provided, into his laptop,that’s what maxis people told him to do first thing. Well work fine at first and then fluctuate and then back on again.OK FINE..So my friend and i guess it’s about time to go wireless,and we fail to established the connection detected,the ZTE is just less than 1 metre away from the laptop!!(oh, we also check the radio signal RSSI to make sure it constantly on and even put it near the window too,and a great amount of masking tape..it was his idea..and Yeah, we look like a numbnut.and guess what, we only got 2 bar out of 5 the wireless signal strenght.
so we entered 192.168.0.1, and we leave the setting intact and default even if we do established the connection.. there’s no password protected provided from the hsdpa modem. we checked the guide book and no setting for securing the connection too… and tonight his enjoying his internet using crosswired RJ45 with his wireless modem.isn’t that odd?! he probably cursing the maxis right now. FIY he’s using Win Vista 32bit. and Yes,his previously-work-fine-Limewire didn’t work under maxis anymore.
Any idea why is this happen? can anybody tell us why before decided to switch to celcom Broadband? or maybe someone can give us a reason not to? pay already rugi maaa!

There’s a problem regarding my friend’s connection to maxis. First of all, whenever she’s using her computer to connect the line, this message will pop up ‘A connection to the remote computer could not be establish. You might need to change the network settings for this connection. For further assistance, click more info or search help and support center for this error number’ It’s her 3rd day using the modem. The catch is this, we try switching the modem to another computer, and it connected without a problem. Can someone please explain this to me? Thank you in advance.

assalamualaikum,saya baru menggunakan blue cube celcom,setakat ni celcom adalah yang terbaik,kalau bolehlah jangan guna maxis broadband sebab netwok paling teruk apa yang saya kaji,sebelum ni saya dah pakai maxis broadband selama 3 bulan tapi nampaknya tiada perubahan makin teruk adalah.saya duduk bandar sunway, cuma 2 bar je yang dapat, nak buka website terpaksa guna gprs only yang lembap baru boleh dapat itu baru duduk bawah kalau duduk tingkat atas cuma yang ada maximum 3g pun 3 bar sahaja itupun duduk kat tingkap baru boleh dapat.Setakat ni yang saya tengok kat maxis centre sunway pyramid ramai yang pulangkan balik broadband tu,saya harap kepada kawan-kawan fikir dan kaji dululah kalau nak pakai maxis broadband lebih baik pakai streamyx ataupun celcom puas hati walaupun lembap sedikit.

What about short term offers ie, prepaid instead of the planned packages provided. How much would I have to pay for it. I was thinking of using the maxim usb (dongle) and buy prepaid cards. Wpuld it be possible?

For maxis i’m not sure whether they offered prepaid broadband just like celcom broadband did,but for the time being,I’m strongly recommends you to use Celcom Broadband or U-Mobile Broadband.

i have just got myself the maxis zte modem with rm78 package, installed a dir 300 router to it , its working fine, the speed test result that i usualy get is from 400-450kbps, i am very happy because some of my frens get the same speed that i get for their power modem, and power usb modem!!
and by the way im staying in an area in penang that is not even listed in the maxis coverage map and also on the 19th floor of my apartment, and my connection strength led on my modem does not blink but it just flashes all the way, means my signal is very good ! i must be really lucky!! thanks god!!

Digi Broadband capped 5gb also but you pay for RM58 for 700kbps…not bad for mobility..for heavy user..pls consider other BB option..

saya nak mintak tolong sapa2. gini saya pengguna celcom BB USB stick celcom vodafone k3565. kekadang bila kengkawan yang guna maxis nak pinjam modem, tidak dpat digunakan kerana ada seting celcom. jurujual ckp boleh tukar sim tapi kena seting manual.
ada sapa2 kat sini tau nak seting untuk maxis tak…

saya pengguna maxisbb 3.6mbs since 2007, tp skrang ni dah x berbaloi utk pakai maxisbb lg, sbb sy skrg berada dlm kawasan luar bandar kat sarawak…yg dpt cuma GPRS kat sini.
the best provider here is celcom.
so kalau boleh nak unlock modem ni, boleh la sy tukar service tanpa perlu tukar modem…membazir…

huh. aku lagi sakit hati dengan maxis wired,2 bulan aku gune ok,laju jek masuk bulan ke 3 setat dier nye peel, slow nak mampos . dl 60 kb upload 50 kb, bile aku call care lines, dier kate aku dah gune lebih 3 gig sebulan, sebab tu dier slow, memule aku bleh terima jawapan dier org, tapi bile 2 /4/ aku login bende ni jadi semule, bile aku cek acct aku, aku gune tak sampai 1 gig pon dl, jadi mana dtng nye masalah nye, bile aku call balik, mule gelabah nak jawab, aku kat area nilai, full hsdpa full bar, jadi ape masalah nye? . mase 1 /4 aku login bleh la dapat 700 kb dl, tapi bile masuk hari kedua terus turun 60 kb. mase 2 bulan lepas ppon aku ade gak kena slow , tapi aku ingat mungkin aku dah lebih gune 3 gig sebulan, tapi still bleh dapat conection laju, tu pon dengan dc and dial balik modem .sampai sekrang, mase aku call ari tu pon dier org mcm nak kate aku gune lebih 3 gig, tapi bile cek acct aku tak sampai 1 gig, mule la bagi alasan lain,selama ni kalo ade masalah pon dier org akan bagi alasan yg sama gak, aku dah naik fedup. pastu dier org minta reading aku dl, pastu dier kate tunggu sampai maxis call, sampai sekrg haram tak call,. kemain sakit hati aku, dah le aku call banyak kali, pastu menunggu dier org , kate nak cek itu ini la,aku bayau full rase mcm rugi le plak. carelines siap kate mungkin hardware aku rosak, masalah nye aku ade 4 modem , usb, pcmcia card, semer aku dah test, mmng slow,pastu dier kate mungkin masalah network plak,yg aku klaka dier kate dier cek kawasan aku takde 3g, abih tu cemaner plak bleh dapat signal hsdpa?, selama aku gune 2 bulan kenape ok jek, tu pon dalam 2 bulan aku dl lebih 3 gig, kadang sampai 13 gig sebulan, nape tak throtle lak?,dan kenape bile hari ke 2 utuk bulan terbaru , kenape slow sampai sekrg?gile betul 60 kb jek aku dapat. mmng tak boleh bukak ape pon. alasan yg dier org kate kaloi gune lebih 3 gig sebulan pastu jadi slow pepmbohong.kawan aku tu yg gune wired maxis,dl sebulan lebih 19 gig, nape tak slow langsung, nape tak limit usage?,bile aku tanye ,dier org kate tengok tempat plak. aik takkan nak limit usage pon kena tengok tempat, tak adil la camtu.sakit hati aku dah melampau,nak tunggu lagi 26 hari dengan connection yg mcm ape tah.untuk carelines maxis, jgn le bile customer call, bagi alasan yg sama jek, seolah2 mmng itu alssan yg di ajar oleh maxis, mcm bace skrip,yg aku sakit hati bile aku buat pengaduan, ade yg tibe tibe di putus kan talian , pastu aku kena call banyak kali,sakit hati woo, tah mcm 2 alasan dier org tanye, sampai kan ade yg tanye aku duduk tingkat bape, padehal aku dah akte aku dapat signal full hsdpa dan full bar. lagi tak paham,ade yg suh off modem 20 minit pastu kate nak reset la ape la, tapi masalah tetap sama, mmng tak profesional langsung, update la segala alasan korang tuh, jgn bagi cust sakit hati.

I subscribe maxis power plan RM138 per month since october 2008.
Before this i don;t have any problem with this devices even though sometimes network so suck..
but
now i’m facing the new problem

my laptop cannot detect my maxis modem
i restart , change the cable.. also.. nothing
change to another usb port.. also cannot detect
change the modem to three difference laptop
also devices cannot detect..
i only can search using my phone..
then.
i call maxis customer service
there was such as stupid conversation with them..

went to maxis centre at the garden mid valley
after some work..
then they tried to change my sim card with the new one..
what the hell….
then went back
try to use my modem
laptop can detect my modem
surfing about 1 hour
then
modem not detect again
wait until an hour
still nothing changes
try restart..
nothing can help me
ugh..
today .. saturday 11 april 2009
went again tu maxis the garden
see the same person
he change another cable
try run to my pc
still fail
then he replace with another new simcard again
ugh…
i hate to go to maxis centre like this
2 times
what the hell
now already use for 2 hours
but not more than hour..
it’s start error
“devices unavailable”
then detect back
right now
3 time its seem like this…
why error devices unavailable?..
i think maxis should replace the new modem
but they said
only simcard error
hey
two times i went to maxis centre for this week
anybody have the same problem?
anybody can give me the solution?

Salam and hi…aku gune maxis bb usb modem da 1thn 2 bln da..aku dr klang..aku X pdi sgt bab2 pc ni tp aku tgh blaja utk improve knowledge aku..aku da lame wat kajian ttg maxis bb ni..hasil kajian aku adlh maxis bb ni ade time die kalo nak laju..
aku da gune maxis bb kat 2 tmpt iaitu di UM dan klang..aku bole je gune ares & u torrent untuk download muvie..kalo nak download t’laju adalah time pkl 1-6 pagi iaitu dr 100-4200 Kbps..so aku biar je pc on time ni kalo nak download..siang Xyah la on sgt..kalo nak surf web siang2 ok la sbb Xyah laju sgt pn Xpe..try la..gune utorrent je sng..lg 1 time tgh download jgn surf web sbb die akan ganggu kelajuan 2 sgt2..biasenye kalo aku biar on je utorrent dlm pkl 12.55am dan perhati btl2 aku bole nmpk tepat pkl 1pg kelajuan akan meningkat..
itupn b’gntg kpd bil. seeders and peers yg ade utk bende yg download 2..lg 1 only download 1 thing at a time and allocate full bandwith utk die..aku on utorrent pas2 tido bgn pg da siap download 1 muvie da..kdg2 download 2-3 muvie dlm 5jam sj..12 ari je dlm bln ni aku da download sebanyak 19GB da..
try la..mungkin bole kot utk korg..GUD LUCK!!!!!!!!
